Domaine Saint Andrieu Côtes de Provence
Domaine Saint Andrieu has been praised by many of you last summer for its refreshing, classy rosé - this is why we have decided to have it back this year again. As temperatures are set to rise gradually, timing is perfect to load a case or two and be ready for the warm and sunny British summer!
The Saint Andrieu estate has been bought in 2003 by the owners of Château Talbot, the well-known "Cru Classé" from Saint-Julien, in Bordeaux. They have then invested a lot in vineyard and equipment, but also brought their famous winemaking knowledge to radically change the face of the domain. They have also hired Grégory Guibergia, the gifted winemaker of the domain who improves wine quality year after year. Their wines have since received a large number of awards and very good reviews from famous wine critics, including the French "Guide Hachette des Vins" or “La Revue du Vin de France”.
Last but not least, they also make a brilliant and authentic extra virgin olive oil and we have managed to put our hands a on few bottles: time to change from the usual supermarket mass productions!
