Domaine Labruyere Wine
Moulin-à-Vent Labruyère, the Beaujolais at its best!
This week, Your Sommelier is exploring a new region to make you discover what a real Beaujolais is. Not the cheap and harsh Beaujolais Nouveau we would not dare offering here, but a great Cru de Beaujolais with one of the best appellations of the region: Moulin-à-Vent.
Domaine Labruyère is one of the oldest estates there and has an approach very similar to Burgundy, where they aim to make the most of each terroir. A lot of work has been put recently in the vineyards and the winery, and wines from the domain are getting more recognition year after year.
We trust this domain is the perfect pick if you want to try out wines from this region. Their Moulin-à-Vent are all delicious, round and fruity wines that we really recommend – and so does Robert Parker who speaks very highly of them!
