After a highly successful career as an interior designer, Jean Guyon bought 2 hectares in Médoc in 1989 to start his “second life” as a wine producer and create his flagship domain: Rollan de By.  He now owns several Châteaux in Médoc, including Rollan de By, Tour Seran, Haut-Condissas and Greysac. As a very exigent businessman, he has always given the greatest care to his domains, taking the best of both traditional methods and modern technics used by the “Grand Crus”. This strategy has been a huge success and all the wines are celebrated by famous critics like Robert Parker, Jancis Robinson or Bettane & Desseauve. They unanimously consider them among the best Cru Bourgeois, and always priced reasonably. Robert Parker even describes Jean Guyon as the inexpensive Bordeaux lover’s best friend
