Best second wines - Bordeaux

Best second wines - Bordeaux

This week we have carefully prepared a selection of second wines from some of the most prestigious Bordeaux Châteaux, in three of the main appellations of the left bank: Haut-Médoc, Margaux and Saint-Estèphe. Wine amateurs are usually very keen on second wines, as they benefit from the Château's know-how, terroir and prestige for a more decent price. However, there is a little digging to do in order to pick only the best ones and this is what Your Sommelier is here for!

Each of these bottles has been selected for a particular reason. It can be the reputation of the name, the vineyard proximity to an exceptional Château or a great vintage. Just go read our tasting comments to find out.
