Domaine des Pasquiers Rouge 2016 IGP Vaucluse

Domaine des Pasquiers is a beautiful estate located in Sablet, one of the small villages in the Côtes du Rhône appellation. In the same family since 1935, it is today managed by the 3rd generation - brothers Jean-Claude et Philippe Lambert - who have decided to run their vineyard organically since 2010.

The Vin de Pays de Vaucluse was a really pleasant discovery for us, much better than most if its peers we’ve tasted. This large appellation can produce all sorts of red wines from various grapes - but they are rarely that good! This wine is a blend of Merlot, Marselan and Syrah, with plenty of fruit all the way, a very smooth palate and a nice spicy touch. An excellent easy-drinking wine that can be paired with many types of food: charcuterie, roasted chicken, bolognese pasta.. etc

Guide Hachette des Vins

"On the nose, this wine made from Merlot, Syrah and Marselan offers notes of spice and red fruit jam. The palate is round and very warm, built on fine tannins."
