Pinot Blanc 2016 Jean Biecher & Fils

The Biecher family has been making wine in Alsace since 1776. Their historical cellar in the village of Saint-Hippolyte has been in constant use since then and is ideally located right in the foothills of the Vosges mountain. With a mix of tradition and modernity, the family is making high quality wine with a great care for its vines. They are also one of the largest producer of organic wine in Alsace. This Pinot Blanc shows a lovely rounded palate with notes of ripe pear, baked apple, lemon. Light-bodied and easy to drink, it would be a great match for any white meat, fish and egg dishes like quiche Lorraine or eggs Benedict!
