"Vieilles Vignes" is a cuvée made from the oldest vines of the estate and among the finest wines produced in France. The concentration provided by the very low yielding old vines is simply amazing here! This full-bodied, black and oaky Chateauneuf has an astonishing complexity with rich flavours of black fruit, cherry, spices and vanilla. Named in the Top 3 Châteauneuf-du-Pape of the vintage by the Wine Advocate and got a spectacular 18/20 from Jancis Robinson. If you fall for it, make sure you decant it well in advance or keep it for a long while. Available in very limited quantity!

97/100 "The 2012 Châteauneuf du Pape Vieilles Vignes is in the top 2-3 wines in the vintage. Possessing rock-star concentration and depth, full-bodied richness and loads of sweet tannin, it offers layers of ripe blackberry, graphite, licorice and toasted-spice aromas and flavors. One of the more powerful and structured efforts in the vintage, it nevertheless always stays balanced, graceful and light on the palate. Give it 2-3 years and enjoy bottles through 2027."
18/20 "50% Grenache, 30% Mourvèdre, 20% Syrah. Masculine and savoury. Serious stuff that is ultimately very satisfying. Lots of density up front and then real energy on the finish. Deep and concentrated. Tannins built in here nicely. Very appealing."
This Ventoux is a great bottle to start discovering the Southern Rhône area. Elaborated from a blend of Grenache and Syrah, it exhibits a nose of fresh red and black fruit (raspberry, blackcurrant). The palate is smooth with soft tannins, delicate fruity flavours and a nice peppery touch. A lovely wine to drink with a simple meat dish like a beef burger...
“One of my favorite Côtes du Rhône” - Robert Parker. This medium-bodied Côtes du Rhône is made by Domaine Grand Veneur, one of the best producers in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Just simple and delicious, with aromas of red and black fruit and silky tannins, there is excellent value for money here. We particularly love the complex peppery finish and it’s probably...
Made from a specific parcel with ideal soils for white grapes, this wine is a pure expression of the Viognier, a highly aromatic grape grown in the Rhône valley. Very classy with subtle aromas of white peach, pear and flowers, keeping enough minerality to provide a good balance. Try it on a goat cheese, you will love it.
Lirac is an appellation located just opposite Châteauneuf-du-Pape in the Rhône Valley. It is known to produce wines which are similar to Châteauneuf-du-Pape, without the price tag. Clos de Sixte is THE reference in Lirac. It boasts delicious aromas of wild blackberries and some red fruit. Palate is round and spicy, and the finish is surprisingly long....
A round and complex white Châteauneuf-du-Pape coming from a dedicated parcel. Subtle aromas of white flowers and yellow fruit, a long finish with a touch of honey. Much more complex than a simple Côtes du Rhône, this is the ultimate white for amateurs who want to discover a wine that can be rich and fresh at the same time.
The flagship wine of Domaine du Grand Veneur that has made its reputation and that Robert Parker loves so much! Delicious and really complex, it shows a great structure with rich aromas of ripe red fruit and sweet spices, ending with a long finish with notes of liquorice. Your Sommelier is a big amateur of red Châteauneuf-du-Pape and this is definitely...
