"Vieilles Vignes" is a cuvée made from the oldest vines of the estate and among the finest wines produced in France. The concentration provided by the very low yielding old vines is simply amazing here! This full-bodied, black and oaky Chateauneuf has an astonishing complexity with rich flavours of black fruit, cherry, spices and vanilla. Named in the Top 3 Châteauneuf-du-Pape of the vintage by the Wine Advocate and got a spectacular 18/20 from Jancis Robinson. If you fall for it, make sure you decant it well in advance or keep it for a long while. Available in very limited quantity!
