Château Andron Blanquet is one of the oldest vineyards in Saint-Estèphe. Since 1971, it has been the property of the Audoy family who also owns the neighbouring estate Château Cos-Labory. The 2009 shows a slightly reserved nose of red fruits, vanilla and toast. On the palate it is strong and powerful, which is very Saint-Estèphe in style, but well balanced with rich and melted tannins. Highly recommended to any Saint-Estèphe amateur!

![]() | 15.5/20 "Blackish crimson. Decidedly reserved on the nose. Very dry start. Pretty tough, though true to its appellation. In classical mould and only for those in love with St-Estephe's rigour." | ||||||
