What experts say
16.5 "Very dark crimson. Meaty and lively. Good refreshment value. Well-balanced sweet ink."

86 "The 2010 Siran is a soft, round, attractive, straightforward style of wine, with good berry fruit, some roasted herbs and spice, but not the density and richness of the top wines from this stunning vintage. Drink it over the next 10-12 years."

91 "This has a plush feel overall, packed with flavors of cocoa, espresso, bay leaf, roasted mesquite, plum sauce and black currant preserves. The slightly dusty structure is well-embedded in the fruit, offering a tug of earth at the very end and leaving a mouthwatering impression. Best from 2014 through 2025."
92 "After a low period, Siran has come back in 2010 with this solid, tannic, firm and serious wine. There is plenty of blackberry flavor to flesh out the structure, resulting in a wine for medium-term aging."

Château Doyac is the perfect medium-range Cru Bourgeois to have at home. Its 75% of Merlot makes it round, fruity, and gives a lot of personality. Aromas of red cherry and raspberry on the nose, structure and spices on the palate. It shows a very decent complexity for this price range and we love it: a great wine that will never let you down!

"This is a terrific wine" - Robert Parker. Château Charmail is a hidden gem in the Cru Bourgeois world, and we have been lucky to get our hands on this 2010. Very consistent over the years - even in difficult vintages - it has a growing and well-deserved reputation. Medium to full-bodied, it shows fine aromas of small berries and spices, ending on a light...
