With similar proportion of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon coming from very various soils, Château Fourcas Dupré has made the most of the brillant 2010 vintage. Round and fruity, aromas of red cherry and raspberry on the nose, structure and spices on the palate... It shows a good complexity for this price range, thanks to oak barrels. Fourcas Dupré is always a "safe bet" for us, and it is no surprise to see this wine receive multiple awards (90-91 James Suckling...). You will easily understand why it is considered as one of the best Listrac-Médoc, a great under-the-radar appellation!

|What experts say|
16.5/20 "Extremely rich on the nose then gorgeously smooth and polished but with freshness. Almost Margaux-like with a 2010 density. Very impressive at this stage. Just falls away a little on the end. A tiny bit stringy, but very well done!"
88/100 "Shows good grace for a Listrac, with a solid core of raspberry and black cherry fruit laced with hints of savory and tobacco, all carried by a pebbly but integrated structure. Drink now."
90-92/100 "Firm, concentrated, dry wine. It seems to be all structure, until the sweet juicy plum fruits show through."
