La Closerie de Camensac 2011 Haut-Médoc - Château de Camensac

La Closerie is the entry-level bottle this week, and it is an impressive wine for this price. As a Merlot-dominated red, it is made to drink younger than most of the Cru Classé we are proposing, and is very accessible. The quality and savoir-faire of its big brother is there. It shows aromas of red fruit with a little hint of vanilla and gives a fresh feeling on the palate. A very well-made second wine.
