What experts say
16 "Rich velvety crimson. Dusty too. Underneath that a touch of mint. Dry, powdery tannins, lacks fruit depth though they have made the best of it to arrive at elegance overall."
84 "The 2011 Fourcas Dupre exhibits more generous fruit, medium body, no herbaceousness and an absence of dry tannins. Fruit-forward, light to medium-bodied and pleasant, it should be consumed over the next 3-4 years."
86-89 "Friendly plum and black cherry notes with a lacing of sweet tobacco on the finish. Not big, but nice purity. Soft."
