A word about the domain
Château Giscours belong to the most famous producers from Bordeaux, and has always benefited from a huge prestige. I has been owned sicne 1995 by a Dutch businessman, who understood early on that heavy investments were key to make the most of this amazing terroir and maintain the prestige of the Château. As a result, no expense has been spared and a long term sustainable management has been in place. Today, Château Giscours is one of the Châteaux in Bordeaux which have kept their past glory at all times and built on it to improve their wines.

About the wine
Wine Spectator: 91
"Shows good density but stays defined, with lilac and iron notes lending cut to the core of plum, cassis and loganberry fruit. Reveals a tarry edge on the finish, but remains racy and fresh overall, with the iron note winning out in the end. Drink now through 2022"

Gault & Millau: 15/20
"It will quickly loosen and offer a beautiful range of liquorice, tasty blueberry and spices. A second wine for food pairing thanks to its beautiful structure."
