86/100 "Tasted at the vertical retrospective at the property. The 2011 Labastide Dauzac, a blend of 48% Cabernet Sauvignon and 52% Merlot, has a clean, pure bouquet with blackberry, a touch of blueberry and more floral notes. In a way, this is more "Margaux" than previous vintages. The palate is medium-bodied with rounded supple tannin, moderate acidity, missing a little backbone on the mid-palate with a slight chewiness towards the finish."

86/100 "Open and accessible, with anise, plum coulis and blackberry notes, lined with judicious toast. Offers a ripe, easy, fleshy finish."

15/20 "Lovely crispy fruit and nice salty acidity. the whole is savoury and sharp. The finish of fresh red fruits is perfectly designed."

16.5/20 "Great success for this very high level 2nd wine. Nose is full and elegant. Fine tannins on the palate, long and refine finish. A mus have." (previous vintage)
