Champagne 1er Cru Millésime 2000 - Pascal Lejeune

The jewel in the crown! This 2000 vintage Champagne has something really special: partially vinified in oak then aged for over 15 years in the bottle (!), it's an exceptional bottle for any amateur if vintage Champagne. It starts on a fresh and aromatic nose, followed by notes of honey, toast and a salty minerality. The palate shows a high level of complexity and balance ending on a buttery and creamy finish. This one definitely has it all and would pair very nicely with any fine dishes!

This Brut is the perfect example of what a talented Champagne-grower can achieve and it doubtlessly competes with any Brut Champagne on the market! This is a blend of Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay from different vintages (like most Non-Vintage Champagnes) that has spent 3 years bottled in the cellar before being released - vs 18 months for most of its...

More and more popular, a Champagne Rosé always brings a touch of elegance to your glass. Pale pink colour, light and aromatic, it develops lovely notes of small red fruits on the palate. The fine bubbles and the long finish makes it a delicious Champagne to pair with a red fruit tart or just on its own for a few drinks!

The Cuvée de Réserve comes from plots classified as 1er Cru and has more Chardonnay than the Brut, which brings some acidity and freshness. Aromas of pastry and brioche are combined with notes of ripe white fruits and citrus. On the palate, fine bubbles, followed by a nice dry and creamy finish. Interesting to see the level of complexity of a Brut...

Probably the most stunning Blanc de Blancs Champagne we've tasted so far, the type that makes you whish you had more! 100% Chardonnay Champagne – that’s what Blanc de Blancs means! - thin bubbles, elegant, fresh, with a buttery palate of white fruit (apple) and flower (lime-tree). Finish is super-long, nicely creamy with a hint of citrus and a very well...
