This Bergerac Rouge is the entry-level red wine of Château Bélingard. Blend of the four typical Bergerac grapes - Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Malbec - and aged in vats, it is a perfect fruity medium-bodied red wine. Not too dry but not too sweet, very easy-drinking with plenty of red fruit aromas - cherry, blackberry - and round on the palate. Bergerac is known as a great alternative to Bordeaux and this bottle confirms it. Perfect with charcuterie or a barbecue, it would alose be a great match for last minute pizza!
