Expert.pngWhat experts say

90-92/100 "Comprised of 74% Syrah, 14% Grenache and the balance Mourvedre, the 2011 Languedoc St Georges d’Orques Cuvee Quetton Saint Georges is a smoking barrel sample that does everything right. Loaded with creme de cassis, black raspberry, earth and mineral tinges, this beauty is medium to full-bodied, rich and layered, with a full, fleshy mid-palate and rocking length on the finish. Spending a full year in 25% new French oak followed by another year in tank, it’s a gorgeous effort that should drink nicely for over a decade." (previous vintage)

Bronze Medal at Decanter World Wine Awards "Floral, baked cherry nose. Chewy palate, boiled sweet fruit, cocoa beans. Terroir and character" (previous vintage)

Silver Medal at Concours des Vignerons Indépendants

Gold Medal at Concours Général Agricole de Paris (previous vintage)
