Crozes Hermitage 2011 - Brunel de la Gardine

Reds from Crozes Hermitage are usually more subtle and less powerful then other big full-bodied red from the Rhône Valley. This one is no exception with its aromatic nose of red and black fruit. On the palate, it is beautifully balanced and shows a long spiced finish. This very delicate bottle is a perfect example of this appellation.

What experts say
About the wine:
Robert Parker: 87 (Wine Advocate #210 Dec 2013)
"A solid, if not a tad funky, Crozes Hermitage, the 2011 offers up a beefy, meaty profile with plenty of leather, underbrush and currant bud to go with a medium-bodied, nicely textured and delicious feel on the palate. Enjoy it over the coming 4-6 years."
