Touraine Gamay 2016 Château de Quinçay

Gamay is the main red grape of the estate and very typical of this part of the Loire Valley. It usually produces light-bodied red wines with strong notes of small red fruits - raspberry, strawberry or cherry - light tannins and can a slightly spicy touch on the finish. This Touraine Gamay from Château de Quinçay was aged for 8 months in vats (no oak), which result in a very fresh and fruity wine, ideal for a lunch and served slightly chilled. Highly recommended if you are looking for a nice light-bodied and fruity red wine!
