A classic but very well-made Saumur-Champigny, light-bodied and full of red fruits aromas, enhanced by a spicy touch towards the end. Nothing complicated, but it represents a great value to discover the appellation. Definitely the kind of red we love to have for a spring lunch with a barbecue grilled meat.
Hint: Saumur-Champygny are even better when served slightly chilled.
