This is the flagship wine of the family and it has all the characteristics of a great Margaux. The nose is explosive with a combination of fruits, spices and toast that continues on the palate. The structure is rich and powerful, yet very elegant. It then shows a persistent finish, calling for more. Very well made and ready to drink now, it will also age well. Margaux is one of the most sought-after appellations in Médoc and usually offers expensive wines. Such a quality Margaux at this price is a real steal!

Bronze Medal at Decanter World Wine Awards "Lifted cassis and floral-leafy aromas. Still youthful palate, sweet, elegant and nicely silky. Fresh, easy-going concentration and a pleasing sense of harmony."
16.5+/20 "94% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot. Good, powerful, rich, opulent nose. Very convincing. Delivers tasty ripe fruit on the palate too. Certainly modern. Seamless balance. Perhaps just a bit too ripe for traditionalists, but in terms of enjoyment, this hits the spot."
88/100 "The sleek currant, pomegranate and black cherry notes course along, framed by a lightly singed sandalwood hint and backed by an iron accent. Shows persistence on the finish."
Second wines can sometimes represent a great opportunity, especially in an amazing vintage such as 2010. La Dame de Baladoz 2010 is a lively and vibrant red offering elegant aromas of red fruit and cedar box in the background. Very well made wine with soft tannins, perfect for any amateur of Bordeaux, and Saint Emilion in particular.
Château Tour Baladoz is a lovely and typical Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, property of the Shepper family - also owner of Château Haut Breton Larigaudière in Margaux. The blend is dominated by merlot, making it a round and fruity red with notes of spring flowers and a nice wooden touch. The 2011 vintage has had time to assimilate its 18 months in oak barrels...
This Château Tayet is worth much more than its simple Bordeaux Supérieur, we've rarely come across such quality in this range of price! Coming from a terroir near Margaux, it has elegance, a great balance with ripe fruit aromas and wooden notes. It is the perfect house wine that we have been looking for; definitely a smashing hit! Château Lacombe-Cadiot is a brilliant example of a great Bordeaux Supérieur, from a vineyard located in the Médoc. Made of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, the wine has spent 10 months in oak barrels and many years in bottle to reach its best drinking time! It shows a nice fruity nose of dark fruit, medium-bodied palate, a touch of wood and a lovely...
Second wines can sometimes represent a great opportunity though it is not always the case so it's worth knowing which one to get! La Dame de Baladoz 2015 is a lively and vibrant red offering elegant aromas of red fruit and cedar box in the background. Very well made wine with soft tannins, perfect for any amateur of Bordeaux, and Saint Emilion in...
