Wine-Enthusiast.jpg

88/100 "Bold and fruity, this ripe wine has rich black fruits that are still tied to young tannins. A ripeness to the fruit will allow the wine to age, with tannins softening and filling out. Drink from 2017."

Wine-Spectator.jpg

87/100 "This pleasantly rustic wine has a hint of dark humus weaving around the core of mature plum and blackberry fruit, while singed cedar and tobacco notes fill in on the finish." (previous vintage)

This is a very interesting white, blend of Rolle and some 80-years old vines of Ugni Blanc! A surprising aromatic complexity with flavours of citrus, pear and white flowers, a buttery touch and a refreshing acidity. Pretty high-level for a white Côtes de Provence, it is a great discovery for Your Sommelier.

The flagship rosé of the Château is slightly more complex and fruity than the "Caprice de Clementine", due to the small proportion of Syrah and Mourvèdre. The pure flavours of gooseberry, citrus and roses end up on a mineral and long finish. Delicious!
