Chardonnay La Grande Pièce 2016 - Complices de Loire

Complices de Loire is a small estate based in Touraine and founded by François-Xavier Barc - a brilliant winemaker from the region. He owns a small vineyard and works with some of the best winegrowers in the area to produce an amazing range of wine. This Chardonnay is the latest addition to the Complices de Loire family and is absolutely stunning, boxing way above its weight: a blind tasting would have made us put it somewhere in Burgundy! A fresh and delicate wine with elegant aromas of yellow fruit (peach, apricot), white flower and almond. The palate is round and mineral, ending on a lovely nutty finish.... an absolute must-try!

Surprising Chardonnay!

Was not expecting much of a Loire Chardonnay so it was a huge surprise. Definitely a great wine
