This is probably our favourite red this week! Cuvée Classique is the most typical Languedoc wine from the Domaine, although it is surprisingly smooth, remaining medium-bodied. Given the exclusive use of local grapes and the ideal terroir, it benefits from the Languedoc appellation. It shows beautiful aromas of ripe black fruit, forest and spices, with a long finish. Tannins are supple, elegant and spicy. Very well made with nice flavours and structure: We love this wine, perfectly ready to drink right now after 5 years in the bottle!

16.5/20 "Cuvée made of the usual Languedoc tryptic Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. It is a fresh wine, very balanced with yummy flavours of black fruit and spices. We love drinking it." (previous vintage)
15/20 "It is a complete wine with elegant flavours, subtle tannins, a perfect combination between fruit, earth and olives. The great harmony." (Previous vintage)
"An icon in Languedoc" from the famous French wine critics Bettane & Desseauve. This is the least we can say for this amazing 100% Chardonnay. Tiny yields, harvest at night to protect grapes, careful vinification and 3 months in French oak barrels: These are the secret ingredients to what is, according to many famous critics, the "best Chardonnay in...
For this exciting red wine, the winemaker of Domaine d’Aigues Belle is blending the Bordeaux grape Merlot with local old-vines of Grenache and Mourvèdre. The terroir is in the Languedoc appellation, but the wine is “only” an IGP Pays d’Oc to allow any grape in the mix. The result is a delicious and round red wine, benefiting from a Bordeaux lookalike...
Made of Grenache and Cinsault, the Rosé from Domaine d'Aigues Belles is a dry and light coloured Languedoc with delicate aromas of peach, citrus and gooseberry. Unlike other rosés in the region, it does not look for any fuss or so-called complexity. It is just a nice and fresh wine to enjoy in the sun, perfect for a summer lunch! 16/20 Gault & Millau
Cuvée Nicole is a similar concept to Cuvée Lombarde: Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are blended with the Syrah grape, which brings a lovely spicy character. Like all red wines of the Domaine, it spends time in oak barrels to pick up tannins and enhance the structure. Aromas of black fruit end up on a toasted finish, which lasts on the palate. A beautiful...
It is impossible for us to say if we prefer "Le Blanc" or "L'Autre Blanc" - they are both exceptional white wines, yet quite different from each other - don't hesitate to try them both and come back for more later on! L'Autre Blanc is a complex and subtle blend of the local Roussanne grape with Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. It is a medium-bodied white...
