Ladoix Blanc 2013 - Domaine d'Ardhuy

Ladoix is one of the most up-and-coming appellations in Burgundy. Probably the least known wine in Côte de Beaune, it exhibits similar characteristics to its neighbour, Corton Charlemagne - floral aromas, beautiful minerality and long finish. Well-made Ladoix are often compared to more prestigious wines of Burgundy. The Domaine is actually located in the heart of Ladoix and is one of its greatest ambassador. Made of older vines (over 30 years old, 25% of which are Pinot Blanc!), this Ladoix has seduced us right away.

Why we picked this wine: A great example from a little-known appellation in the heart of the prestigious Côte de Beaune. Trust us and have a try, it is definitely worth many Chassagne-Montrachet or Meursault for under half the price! You will not find this Ladoix anywhere else in the UK.
