Pouilly-Fuissé "Vers Cras" 2015 - Domaine de Fussiacus

Although gaining more and more recognition over time, the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation does not have any "Premier Cru" or "Grand Cru" classification (yet?) - but "Vers Cras" would definitely be one of them. Thanks to an exceptional terroir, it produces highly complex wines. This cuvée is outstanding and shows an explosive, concentrated, fruity, nutty nose. Palate is round and buttery, with a remarkable finish. A beautiful minerality supports the structure. You might even prefer this bottle rather than an entry-level and much more expensive Chassagne-Montrachet!
