|A highly complex white with a lot of different and subtle aromas - white fruits, citrus, flowers... This white wine is mainly made of Roussanne, a delicate grape variety that is difficult to grow but gives astonishing perfumes to wines. A few light wooden notes complete the tasting on a long, very long finish. Simply remarkable.|

|A word about the domain|
|Domaine de Nalys has quite a history, which goes along with the history of the country. It is one of the oldest domains in Chateaunef-du-Pape, probably created in the 16th century and owned by the Nalys family until the French Revolution. As many other private estates, it was seized and sold cheaply to local family ending up in a poor form a century later. The domain really came back in the spotlight in the 1950’s when the new owner, a doctor who gave up his practice to manage the vineyard, started to implement new winemaking techniques and replant all 13 grape varieties allowed in the appellation. Though his methods were highly criticised at the start, Nalys became a reference in the appellation after only a few years and some great wines.
In the 1970’s, the doctor thought it was time to move on and sold half of domain to a few young winemakers and the other half to an insurance company. Since then, they have managed to run the vineyard with the same principles that made its success and the quality of their wines has remained outstanding!
