Pouilly-Fumé Classique 2015 - Domaine Hubert Brochard

A typical and elegant Pouilly-Fumé! It exhibits fine notes of "fumé" (stony aromas), with hints of lemon, hazelnut and honey. On the palate, it is a light-bodied and refreshing white with a slight peppery finish. A truly amazing example of Pouilly-Fumé, we just loved it. Any amateur of this appellation will be thrilled with it.

What experts says
16/20 "The sharpness of Sauvignon seems to have given way to a certain peachiness. But on the palate it is fun so long as you are not looking for obvious youthful Sauvignon. It certainly isn't tired; just evolved. Quite unusual with a certain bite on the end. Low acid for a Pouilly-Fumé but it can certainly deliver pleasure and it not a ridiculous price." (Previous vintage)

1* "This Pouilly-Fumé opens on powerful aromas of flower, white fruit and citrus. Palate is rich and unctuous. Notes of fruit and candy in the finish." (Previous vintage)

Commended at International Wine Challenge (Previous vintage)
