Sancerre Rouge Classique 2014 - Domaine Hubert Brochard

Partly aged in oak barrels, this red Sancerre is a round and fresh Pinot Noir, which clearly does not suffer the comparison from a classic Pinot Noir from Burgundy. It does have a fine structure with subtle tannins and slight oaky notes. Surprisingly complex for a red Sancerre, it is really worth a try.
