Elaborated from vines planted on a parcel called “Le Rochoy”, lying hillside on flinty soils in an ideal location. A very mineral and complex wine with a lot of different aromas of ripe fruit. One of the most elegant and pure Sancerre we came across, so definitely worth its price!

A word about the domain
Originally created by monks in 1850, the domain has been acquired by the Bourgeois Family in 1986 and is spread over 30 hectares today in Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé. The conversion to an all-organic domain has started, which demands a lot of manual work in the vineyard but which also aims at increasing the quality of the wines year after year. The Domaine Laporte is seen as a reference in Sancerre, both the quality of their wines and the great care they give to the vineyards.
