This Chardonnay was the first bottle we tried from the domain and really impressed us. It is indeed quite rare to see such a quality for a generic Bourgogne appellation. 100% of the wine is aged in oak barrels, providing intense flavours of white peach, lime and a buttery, toasted palate. With a surprisingly long finish, a blind tasting would place it in a more upmarket appellation, without a doubt. Just delicious.
