Moving up into the Santenay range, we have selected this 1er Cru Beaurepaire - the highest parcel of the appellation - for its finesse and elegance. The nose has the typical floral aromas of Santenay (violet, peony) and more classic red fruit notes. The palate is a nice combination of power and elegance, with fine tannins showing a nice ageing potential.
