Bourgogne Chardonnay 2017 Seguin Manuel

A very special Bourgogne Chardonnay, as it is made with grapes coming from various plots around the village of Meursault. It is no surprise if the quality of this wine easily overcomes most Bourgogne Chardonnays. It has an expressive nose of white peach, flowers and light wooden notes. The palate is round and slightly buttery, mixing fruit aromas and a touch of vanilla. A very well-made white - very Côte de Beaune, very Burgundy, very classy. Highly recommended!

Jancis Robinson

16/20 "Bright fruit pounces on the nose and generous fruit tumbles across the tongue - playful and round yet accompanied by a woosh of green-apple acidity which continues to fill the mouth and the fizzle, sherbet-like, for quite some time. A rewarding Bourgogne Blanc." (previous vintage)

Robert Parker Wine Advocate

86/100 "The Bourgogne Blanc has a waxy, lemon curd and brioche-tinged bouquet that is clean and pure. The palate is fresh on the entry, quite Mâconnais in style with a pleasant nutty tinge towards the finish. It is a more exotic Bourgogne Blanc as you would expect in this season, but it will be delicious over the next 1-2 years." (previous vintage)

Wine Spectator

87/100 "Rich and juicy, this white offers apple, white peach and citrus flavors on a medium-bodied frame. The fresh finish keeps this lively. Drink now." (previous vintage)
