Domaine St Andrieu Rouge 2012 Côtes de Provence

We have managed to get our hands on a few remaining cases of the 2012 vintage - we suspect the winemaker might have been keeping those for himself!. If you tend to prefer mature red wines, you have to give this one a try. We love its velvety structure and smooth finish with elegant aromas of cassis, forest and leather. It is pretty rare to find good aged reds from Provence, and this bottle is a great pick... to drink now!

Decanter Bronze Medal

Bronze Medal at Decanter World Wine Awards 2015 "Summer berries, a touch of spice and milk chocolate complement floral notes. Oak is integrated. Ageing gracefully. An exotic edge. Medium intensity."

Silver Medal at Concours Général Agricole Paris 2014
1* "With a profound colour, this 2011 shows an intense nose of ripe black fruit and liquorice with toasted notes. The palate is well balanced with subtle and integrated tanins, ending on a long and slightly spicy finish." (previous vintage)
