A nice medium to full-bodied wine with aromas of blackcurrant, plum, hints of toast and vanilla provided by the Syrah & Mourvèdre. Well-rounded on the palate with a long and spicy finish, giving a great balance to this bottle. If you like aromatic red wines with a lot of personality, this is a great pick - and after 4 years in the bottle, it is a brilliant wine to drink now.
Did you know? Surprisingly, Provence used to be a red wine region - and the "Cru Classé" classification was based on their quality. In light of the modern enthusiasm for rosé wine, most estates shifted drastically and now mostly produce rosé. There are still, however, many really nice red wine there!

|What experts say|
2** "The purple and deep red colour of this wine attracts the eye; the nose is oriented towards red fruits (strawberry), underlined with rather discrete woody notes (coconut). In the mouth, body, fat, melted tannins that bring roundness and a nice balance between fruity and woody very well dosed."
|Silver Medal at Decanter World Wine Awards 91/100 "Sausage, herbs and coconut with a hint of vanilla on the nose. Lush, rich, generous, earthy and deep with chocolate, chalky blackberry, liquorice, soft tannins and good follow through. Rounded and approachable. An excellent wine with impressive density."|
