This white Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a round, medium to full-bodied and fruity white wine, showing flavours of stone fruit (peach, apricot), pear and melon. What experts say
Jancis-Robinson.jpg

16/20 "Vineyard soil: galets. 50% Grenache Blanc, 50% Clairette. Lime oil and markedly high acidity. Lots of rich fun. Just a bit artificial though. Lots of body. Then masses of acid." (previous vintage)

86/100 "I suspect recently bottled, the 2015 Châteauneuf du Pape Cuvée des Deux Sœurs Blanc started out a touch reduced, and had a mojito-like mix of citrus and crushed mint on the nose. Medium-bodied, clean and crisp on the palate, with a touch of minerality and racy acidity, it’s a good, enjoyable effort that will benefit from six months in bottle."

88/100 "On the leaner side, with modest star fruit, verbena and yellow apple fruit notes framed by hints of fennel and grapefruit pulp. Drink now." (previous vintage)

15/20 "Beautiful notes of toast are found in this nice cuvée, which will clearly improve over time." (previous vintage)

"The Châteauneuf du Pape Cuvee des Deux Sœurs is brilliant." - Robert Parker. Few wines are praised by a 90 from Robert Parker AND a 17 from Jancis Robinson - and even fewer are under £30 a bottle. This cuvée, created in 2003, exhibits a concentrated nose of ripe black cherries and kirsch. One the palate, this full-bodied red shows a powerful structure with silky tannins and a spicy finish, brought by oak barrels and a bigger...
