Grapes used for the elaboration of this high end Sancerre comes from two parcels containing a high proportion of flint, which gives high quality wines with a very mineral aspect. The result is very fresh, concentrated Sauvignon Blanc with subtle and complex citrus and peaches aromas. Absolutely perfect with fish and with goat cheese. We definitely...
Light and fresh rosé wine, ideal to have at home for when the sun comes back. It will be the perfect partner for lunch and barbecues! Rosé wines account for less than 5% of the Sancerre production, so not necessarily the most common French rosé but definitely one to try. Don't miss this opportunity to add a couple of bottles to your order to discover it!
La Petite Perrière is perfect for Sauvignon Blanc amateurs looking for a good entry level bottle. Nice and easy white wine with aromas of citrus and a hint of peach. A great quality Sauvignon from the Loire Valley, for a fraction of the price of a Sancerre or a Pouilly Fumé. Very, very good value. You will always be happy to have a few bottles of this in...
What a delight to find such an affordable Pinot Noir! La Petite Perrière is very typical of the Eastern Loire Valley: it is simple, light-bodied and fruity, with a little hint of vanilla on the finish. Made with 100% Pinot Noir - the grape used to make the famous Sancerre - this bottle is a lovely lunch wine that would pair nicely with any white meat,...
M de Mulonnière is a beautiful dry white wine from Anjou, where Chenin Blanc is at its best. Manual harvest and traditional winemaking are used to make the most of the exceptional local terroir and the Chenin Blanc. It opens on a nose of almond and acacia, with fresh grape and honey notes. On the palate, the wine is soft and well-balanced with a nice...
This “Red Kiss” is a great cuvée to discover the Anjou Villages appellation. Made of Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% of Cabernet Franc from the left bank of the Loire, it is a soft and deliciously fruity medium-bodied red with aromas of ripe fruits, spices, toast and vanilla. With already a few years in the bottle, now is the perfect time to enjoy it with a...
A wonderful Pouilly Fumé, made of 100% Sauvignon Blanc coming from 4 different prestigious parcels. The nose is complex with hints of flowers and white fruit. On the palate, the wine is both fruity and mineral, perfectly balanced and very elegant. Probably one of the best Pouilly Fumé Your Sommelier has tasted, it will always be a good choice for a late...
Even red wines are well made at Domaine de la Perrière. This light bodied Pinot Noir is hand harvested, carefully processed and spends time in used oak barrels to give a light spicy touch on top of its red fruit flavours. Sancerre wines are mostly white (80% of the production), and this wine is the brilliant proof that the appellation can produce very...
Typical well made Sancerre with citrus aromas and a light exotic touch. This crisp and fresh white wine presents a long and fruity finish, which is remarkable for a “simple” Sancerre. We would love to see this outstanding quality for all Sancerre bottles you can buy at this price, but we are not there yet. Highly recommended for Sancerre lovers.
Coteaux du Layon are sweet white wines coming from vines planted on the banks of the Layon, a tributary of the Loire river. The Chenin Blanc grape is harvested when affected by noble rot, just as in Sauternes. We love these wines, which present beautiful aromas but less sugar that some other sweet wine appellations. This 2011 shows complex and generous...
