Château de Luc 2015 - Corbières

This Cuvée Les Jumelles from Château de Luc is the perfect opportunity to start exploring the Corbières AOC. Made of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Carignan, it boasts concentrated flavours of black fruit, garrigue and black pepper. Finish is long and round, supported by supple, mature tannins. A great discovery for what remains a “simple” wine in this appellation.

The Languedoc is one of the main producers of Rosé in France thanks to a warm and dry climate. Some are very Provence-like, just like this very refreshing cuvée: light, fresh and fruity rosé (raspberry, apple), just as we like it. Though it is not quite summer yet, but who says we can’t enjoy a nice glass of rosé in front of the fireplace!

This cuvée - produced in a tiny quantity - is the top of what the Fabre family can do, giving it a very special care. Old vines of Carignan bring in a huge personality: Dark colour, intense nose of spices, rich palate of cassis and spicy flavours. Tannins are still present but show a beautiful harmony. Definitely a wine to keep for a few years in your...
