This wine is nothing but classic! It could be seen as the little extravaganza of the winemaker, a big fan of Condrieu wines - the famous Viognier wines of the Northern Rhône - which may explains a few things about this wine. It starts on a very mineral nose of candied citrus and peach. The palate is rich, concentrated and fresh, delivering aromas of candied lemon and roasted almonds. It ends in a remarkably long fruity and mineral finish. Brilliant, rare and of course highly recommended!
