Pinot Noir is becoming more and more popular in Languedoc under the IGP d'Oc appellation. Climate and soil are ideal for this grape there, while giving different wines from up North in Burgundy, Loire, or Alsace. This Pinot Noir is a lovely fruity wine with a nose of red cherry, morello cherry and earthy notes. Very lightly oaked with just a few months spent in used oak barrels, it is quite delicate on the palate, light to medium-bodied and with nice melted tannins. A new world Pinot Noir style, in the good way of course!
