Saint-Joseph is mainly know for the red wine made from Syrah but the appellation also produces fantastic white wine from the local Marsanne grape. This cuvée La Source from Ferraton is a very round and mineral wine, partly aged in oak barrels and vats. It shows aromas of white peach and flower such as verbena or honeysuckle, buttery notes and a long refreshing finish. Great value for this lovely round white wine!

|What experts say|
16/20 "Citric and precise on the palate with a pleasant pithy mouthfeel. Chewy, yet finishes light and refreshing. (RH)"
91/100 "The St Joseph releases are also brilliant. White peach, browned butter, crushed rocks and white flower notions all emerge from the 2015 St Joseph la Source Blanc. This 100% Marsanne cuvée is a flat out great value. Just bottled in July, with medium-bodied richness and notable freshness, drink it over the coming 4-5 years."
|92/100 "Fresh and nicely delineated, with bright star fruit, verbena, honeysuckle and white peach flavors that zip along, backed by good energy on the finish. Marsanne. Drink now through 2022."|
