The Estate Reserve is Glenelly's signature blend. It is mainly made of Syrah, bringing spicy flavours, and Cabernet Sauvignon, providing structure. It spends 18 months in French oak barrels to offer an elegant and complex bouquet of blackcurrant and spicy plums, with notes of cedar and toast in the background. The palate has a great intensity and concentration with elegant and well-structured tannins, leading to a long luscious finish. A complex and aromatic red, at an incredible price given the quality.

17/20 "Deep ruby. Fine peppery, rocky dark-fruit aroma, a touch smoky, adumbrating freshness and elegance, and just the merest hint of Stellenbosch's leafy side. Complex on the palate, cedar, cigar box, black olive and still some lovely non-sweet black fruit. Bone-dry finesse to the tannins and lovely freshness and just a suggestion of bitter chocolate on the finish. Super-refined and surely with a good life ahead. (JH)"
92/100 "Features alluring fresh espresso and smoldering juniper notes out front, followed by a rich, polished core of cassis and blackberry fruit, with a serious spine of licorice root and a long tarry edge to the finish. This still has ample grip, but there's enough development here to begin drinking now. Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Drink now through 2020."
Glenelly's Glass Collection red wines are made of a single grape variety (Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon). The Syrah was really the one standing out to us, reminiscent of what you can find in the Northern Rhône Valley. Dark colour with a slight purple edge, an intense nose developing aromas of dark berries, pepper and flowers. Palate is well-balanced...
The Glass Collection unoaked Chardonnay is the entry level white wine of Glenelly Estate. It shows a bright yellow colour with a hint of green. The wine has expressive aromas of citrus, lime zest and melon. On the palate there is a round and comforting texture with a decent length and intense fruit complexity. In short, a very well made mineral Chardonnay...
Estate Reserve Chardonnay is the oaked white of the estate, and it is absolutely delicious. Nose displays vibrant citrus, apple and flint with underlying minerality and vanilla butterscotch. Palate is lush, the creamy texture is underpinned by beautiful mineral notes with hints of toasted almond and vanilla. The finish is fresh with great minerality. A...

Lady May is the Grand Cru of the Estate, made exclusively of Bordeaux grapes varieties. This red wine is fresh and vibrant on the palate with a balanced mouthfeel, a long and silky finish and...
