Anjou Blanc 2017 Domaine de la Treille

Domaine la Treille was created in 1970 by the Taillé family and is now managed by a young and talented winemaker, Thibaut Henrion. The 42 hectares of vines have been organic for several years now - certified by the Terra Vitis label - with great respect for soil, biodiversity and all environmental matters.

This Anjou Blanc is made of Chenin Blanc, the main white grape of the Anjou and Saumur region. Harvested at perfect maturity, it gives an elegant wine developing aromas of yellow fruit, dried apricot and almond. The palate is round, thanks to the ageing on lees, fresh and with still a nice acidity on the finish. A great wine to enjoy either with any type of goat cheese or creamy cheese like Brie or Camembert.
