Savigny-lès-Beaune is an old Burgundian village close to Beaune, mainly planted with Pinot Noir - "Les Peuillets" is one of the most famous and renowned Premier Cru parcels in this appellation. This red wine has everything it should - yummy flavours of red and black fruit, complexity on the palate and a wonderful, spicy, long finish. A great pick for under £30!

|What experts say|
90/100 "Taut and racy, boasting cherry, raspberry and stony notes etched into the firm structure. Offers a fine, lingering finish. Best from 2018 through 2025."
16.5/20 "Translucent but dark crimson. Charming first impression of red fruit and a touch floral. Very scented. Juicy on the palate within a well-judged tannin frame. Gently spiced, dry and nicely chewy on the finish. (JH)" (previous vintage)
