|Selection is a small high-end cuvée for amateurs of Languedoc red wines, and more especially Pic Saint Loup. Nearly black in colour, it delivers beautiful flavours of dark berries with notes of pepper and spices on the finish. Tannins are supple and elegant, giving the wine a beautiful balance. |About the wine|
Gold Medal at the Concours Général Agricole from Paris 2015
Guide Hachette des Vins: 1*
The 2012 vintage has flavours of liquorice, ripe dark fruit and spices. This aromatic richness is still there on the palate, balanced by supple tannins. A beautiful freshness is there on the finish.
Gault & Millau: 15.5/20
The thick and black nose delivers hint of chocolate and liquorice. The structure is rich with beautiful oaky aromas and fine tannins. All-in-all the wine is ripe and homogeneous. We advise decanting it.
