A straight and easy to drink Pinot Noir, just as good as a good entry-level red Burgundy but without the price tag. A nose of ripe red fruit, with cherry taking over on the palate. Very pleasant Pinot Noir for any occasion.

A word about the domain
Matthias and Émile are the 4th generation of the Roblin Family to manage the property. Matthias took it over in 2000, joined by his brother Émile in 2006. They have developed the domain and converted it to "Agriculture Raisonnée". They are doing an amazing job making outstanding wines from the great "Terres Blanches" soils, made of Kimmeridgian Marls, very well known in the region. They have also upgraded their cellar drastically to control the fermentation better and improve the quality of all their wines.

About the wine
Wine Spectator : 87/100
“Light and bouncy, showing pepper, anise and sassafras notes that linger on the briar-tinged finish.”

Wine Enthusiast: 89/100
“A wine with great color, attractive smoky and red fruit flavors and a touch of tannin. It has a good structure as well, reflecting wood aging as well as fine fruit.”

Guide Gilbert & Gaillard: 84/100
“Garnet hue with crimson and dark purple shades. Ripe fruity nose recalling apple and cherry flesh. Cherry prevails on the palate which is supple, fleshy and jammy in style. A likeable wine showing at its best when young.”
