Beaumes de Venise "Le Paradou" 2011 - Paul Jaboulet Aîné

This is the red wine version of Beaumes de Venise - as opposed to the sweet Muscat one. With a beautiful concentrated nose of red berries, it is round on the palate with nicely integrated tannins. Typical medium bodied Grenache with slightly spicy finish. We have been seduced by this discovery.

A word about the domain
Created in 1834 by Antoine Jaboulet, Maison Paul Jaboulet Aîné generally does not need to be introduced to wine amateurs. Its famous Hermitage la Chapelle, among other wines, has made its prestigious reputation. The Frey family, who bought the domain in 2006, are continuously making huge investments to maintain the highest possible standards. Owners of some of the best parcels in the region, they treat the vines with a profound respect. They also buy grapes from carefully selected producers, who they work with very closely.
