Condrieu "Les Cassines" 2012 - Paul Jaboulet Aîné

Definitely one of the best Condrieu we have come across. Its specificity is the higher than usual acidity, providing the wine with an exceptional freshness for the appellation. A lot of ripe fruit aromas on the palate - peach, apricot and exotic fruit- with a distinct minerality. A real beauty; a must have if you are looking for an elegant Condrieu.

A word about the domain
Created in 1834 by Antoine Jaboulet, Maison Paul Jaboulet Aîné generally does not need to be introduced to wine amateurs. Its famous Hermitage la Chapelle, among other wines, has made its prestigious reputation. The Frey family, who bought the domain in 2006, are continuously making huge investments to maintain the highest possible standards. Owners of some of the best parcels in the region, they treat the vines with a profound respect. They also buy grapes from carefully selected producers, who they work with very closely.
