Damien Lorieux is among those winemakers who live and breath for their passion. Using modern techniques such as grape control to set the ideal harvest date, he also defends traditional methods in the vineyard. His wines are typical from the Bourgueil aerea, offering fruit, freshness and class. Showing an intense red colour with purple notes, this Bourgueil develops strong red fruit aromas with a smoky note coming from the typical chalky terroir, called “Tuffeaux”. Palate is light to medium bodied with soft tannins and a fine finish. Drink with a Baked Camembert!
