Cabernet Franc can have multiple interpretations in the Loire valley, from easy drinking everyday wines to upmarket cuvées. This bottle is made from vines planted in the typical local soil called “Truffeau”, which is mostly made of porous clay and the Cabernet Franc thrive in there. Le Bouquet develops harmonious notes of red fruit, representative of the Loire vineyards. Aromas of strawberry, redcurrant and cherry are nicely balanced with notes of spice. This is a lively, light-bodied red to be enjoyed slightly chilled over a white meat.
